the lab finding. IF the result is negative, then I would say that the bimc's doctor has referred the patient not only based on wrong working diagnosis but also based on bad judgement. The consequence of being send to Sanglah with the swineflu diagnosis is dire, because the patient who is a foreigner would become a headliner and those low quality thus insensitive(as you said) local news people, would certainly made the patient and his family restless and uncomfortable.See what they have done at Sanglah hospital front gate.
If I were the doctor,I would make diagnosis pneumonia, yes just write :pneumonia, as the exact findings so far are difficulty of breathing and lung cloudiness in chest x-ray. I'll send him back to his country for advanced and thorough examination. This is for the sake of the patient and his family comfort.
