It is obvious that you suffer from "shoot from the lip syndrome" "Badak Mundur"!
If you lived in Indonesia and understood the regulations put in place by Indonesian Authorities for suspected cases of H1M1, you would not have written such rubbish.
BIMC, I am sure, would have been happy to carry-out the necessary tests themselves if it did not contravene the Indonesian Govenment's decree. Sanglah has been nominated as the ONLY hospital in Bali to where suspected cases are to be transported for tests to be carried-out. Here in Jakarta there are just a couple of "designated hospitals".
I truly sympathise with the patient and his wife for the media attention but that's the insensitive way the Indonesia Media works. If you could have seen some of the "footage" displayed following the Jakarta bombs you would understand.(Do we really need to see severed heads and pieces of limbs on prime-time TV?) Only this morning there were shots taken INSIDE the Mortuary of the bodies of the Dutch Couple killed in the blasts - their remains just covered in white sheets and him with "Laki Laki" chalked on his sheet. There have been many comments here in Jakarta about the unprofessional and insensitive approach adopted by the media - and sadly Bali is no different.
There was absolutely no need for you to vilify BIMC in this instance for something which was absolutely outdide their control.
Also, can you please explain to us all just what is a "swine-flu invested patient"???
