If you are expecting Pth-Phuket direct with Air Asia I recommend that you dont hold your breath as international flight rules doesnt allow that, they are only allowed to fly from and back to their base country I.E A/A indonesia /A/A Thailand and A/A Malaysia and I am not even sure if the A320 planes that all the regional A/A companies use can fly that far.
If there was to be a Thailand-Pth direct route with A/A it would be from-to Bkk which is where their base is,and you would need to get another flight Bkk-Phuket.
