These boys are just honest guys on holiday first time os on their own. They paid on check in because they had limited funds and wanted to know they had paid for their accommodation. Anything left was for fun!!!!! They can't prove a thing - we say they paid, hotel says they didn't pay. So naive!!! we tried to warn them of so many things...this was not one of them, thought the hotel would be honest. The theiving clerk has stolen from kids who earn $8.00 per hour as apprentices... I am so p'd off. I emailed them this afternoon to ask what investigation they had done to question the person that checked them in and cashed the travellers cheque on the 18th??? and asked them to reimburse the boys before they leave. WE have no hope what so ever. We have all stayed at this hotel as a family before and the people next door had all of their money stolen from their room. At the time I thought how silly they were for not putting their stuff in the safes???? not sure how safe they would be either. Next time I will suck it up and pay for there room before they get there. Thought it would be a good thing for them to be responsible for themselves, but not if people are going to take advantage and steal. Thanks for the support,I agree that it is sad that the culture is usually to rip you off at every opportunity... and stiff sh.....t if you object. These boys work so hard for there money.
