I just can't believe how dishonest some are - makes me not want to ever stay in that hotel. Anywone reading this post that is staying there should make some comments to the hotel.
Can his travellers cheque not be traced?
Like you said, a very hard lesson to be learnt but dreadful of the hotel to do such a thing - it will put people off.
Hope the rest of their holiday is more positive.
