Hi looking for some travel advice please

My wife & 2 young kids (Ages 4 & 2) are going to Bali next march for 2 weeks.
We are travelling from Scotland so have some reservations about flying time(however got return flights for 4 with singapore airlines for £1200 so seemed too good a deal to miss out on !), but hopefully they will be reasonably well behaved.
I have been searching through forum for some tips on bali with children (My wife and i have previously visited in 2001& 2005 and loved)and have found some useful advice
I have been finding a bit of difficulty finding family accomodation at a suitable price & good standard. Prices seem much more expensive than i remember ? and expensive when compared to europe/usa/thailand - one good deal i have seen was hard rock for 14 nights for £810 (through air asia) , which i have seen at double this price on other web sites, believe the room is not a family room, however there is 2 queen beds which should be suffice (wife + kids might suffer as i tend to snore - especially after a few bintangs !)
Couple of questions which would be grateful if anyone could answer

a) Should i book up this deal now or wait nearer the time (as i guess 1st 2 weeks in march is low season ? )
b) Is there a better option for a family hotel (at similar price) or is this a good choice for kids - i know they have a kids club (4 years and above) + a baby sitting service whereby the 2 year old can also attend the kids club with baby sitter. Kids club is 25,000 per hour and baby sitter is 30,000 per hour which seems cheap
b) The deal is a superior room with breakfast , anyone know if this will include breakfast for kids ?
c) Does anyone know typical prices to eat + drink at this hotel - i would plan to visit different places at night , but during the day would like the option of a few bintangs at the pool if the kids settle in at kids club, but being a miserable scots man would object to paying ridiculously inflated prices for a few beers - would expect to pay more than local restaurants but experience of drinking at other 4/5 * hotels in europe is that they are complete rip off
d)Any experience of hotel (particularly kids club / baby sitting service would be very much appreciated)
e) I have previously visited in april (12 nights) & march (5 nights) and recall the weather being hot + pretty sunny - cloudy at times, but little rain - reading through the forum i am not sure if just hit it lucky ? , and should i expect plenty of rain ?

PS I stayed in intan bali (seminyak i think) in 2001 (honeymoon) & patra bali in 2005 , both hotels were very nice but were slightly remote so i like the location of hard rock
