I found that during my flights this year with Air Asia, that their food and their organization of their kitchens to be very poor.
When I flew Air Asia X from Coolangatta to KL, I asked for Nasi Lemak which was listed as available on this service, whereas Lamb Biryani was listed as only available on flights from Melbourne. I was told that Nasi Lemak was not available and was instead served with Lamb Biryani which was barely edible.
On my Air Asia Indonesia flight to Bali from Kl, I waited for my pre-paid Roti Chanai. Instead, I was told that the Roti Chanai was not available and I was served sandwiches.
Jetstar has a better and more predictable food service than Air Asia.
In September, I am flying Air Asia Indonesia to Bali from Perth. I will be taking muesli bars and water onboard for some reliable sustenance.
Tony Fernandes can make a few more ringgits, if he could fix the food service on Air Asia.
