them when we are going overseas, dates and countries visited. Some banks will cancel your cards if there is an overseas transaction (even if planned) and you have not warned them about it. Can be very difficult if at the beginning of your holiday.
As for internet banking, I would be very careful about where you did this eg in an internet cafe vs using your a laptop. I would worry about the cookies and logging out properly etc but perhaps somebody else knows more about this.
