I have had the Westpac and National Aust banks cancel my credit/debit cards and reissue on our return from Bali. On both occasions there were no fraudulent transactions but the banks saw it as a future possibility, so were pro-active.
I am covered if anyone uses my cards fraudulently, albeit inconvenienced and the bank will investigation and return funds to me so I take my chances.
Once the new system that is throughout Europe and being introduced in Australia is available everywhere, where you need to enter your pin into the card reader machine, the less likely of fraudulent transactions occurring. (Until the bad buggers find a way around that method too).

AND now after reading your post again, I see you were referring to internet banking. Derrr to me, sorry and the answer is no, I have never had any problems with internet banking. (red faced)
