I agree with Milo, Kodak shops are the way to go. We have been travelling to Bali for yonks and Kodak is the best option. Yes you may find the exchange board on the side of a road or laneway showing a signicantly better rate but you end up worse off in the long run. Kodak are registered, do not rip you off, expect you to recount the money in front of them before you leave their shop. The other dodgy exchangers charge you a commission, slip the odd $10,000 note in amongst the $100,000 counting it so quickly in front of you it all looks good. Another trick is these outlets will have 2 of them working together. Once the money has been counted in front of you the other guy will quickly step in and distract you from doing a re-count by trying to get you to buy something. Your natual reaction is to not count it and get out of there ASAP. Youve got to hand it to them they are pretty cunning to pick up the $90,000 here and there. Hey for $10 AUD here and there...so be it! If this kind of thing peeves you off then Kodak is for you.....I swear by them, their great. Hope this helps?
