Recently, I booked AA on line, but noticed no deduction from my CC, and no booking on "check my bookings".
So I booked again.
Then, because I was worried about a double booking, I rang them...and sure enough, two bookings made!!
The initial response after "speaking with a supervisor" was to offer me a credit for a later flight in lieu of cancelling one of the bookings.
I refused this, and after much arguing the point, got them to remove the original booking that was "invisible" to me.
Getting the cheap fares is great, as is the convenience of the internet, but it will not always be plain sailing, and sometimes you will get caught out.
