Bali garden Beach resort is in a great location, accross road from waterbom, Discovery Plaza nezt door, walking distance to Kuta.
We staayed in a family room (4 of us) but they do have trundle beds if there is an extraperson. I don't think it is much extra.
I'm pretty sure that Indo school holidays are in June so may want to avoid this time.
How much money to take - Sorry can't answer that, everyone's Bali budget is different.
