We had trouble finding somewhere for 5 of us too. I know I am going to ruffle the feathers here, but we are staying at Kuta Town Houses. We got a two bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in the September school hols for I think about $120 per night. Having the 2 bathrooms with a teenager is a massive plus, I must say! They have 3 room types in total which would suit you I think.
KTH website is brilliant - it was so easy to get accurate availability and pricing and to book straight away, without have to wait for reception to get back to you to confirm a booking.
The only negative things I have read about KTH are:
it doesn't feel very 'Bali', ie no palm trees etc
some taxis won't/can't get right up to it
someone got stuck in the lift (but I haven't read that it's a regular or common issue)
and that lots of people keep writing good things about KTH on this forum which is frowned upon somewhat.
We have booked two trips to KTH as we have been so impressed with what we have seen so far, the price and value for money.
