During my travels I have found myself in some really difficult situations, if it had not been for my travel agents help my holidays could have been ruined.
On a recent holiday in Bali,the hotel we chose turned out to be less than satisfactory,it was filthy, and not large enough for us all to fit in the room comfortably ,the staff were rude and not at all helpful,
WE really could not afford at that time, to pay more money out,for another hotel,and definitely did not want to stay there
Not knowing what else to do we rang our agent back in Australia for help.
Within an hour we were picked up and taken to another hotel
There was no charge for the driver or the 4 nights spent at this hotel.
When I or my family book a holiday with an agent, we do it because we feel that things on that trip will run smoothly,and if they don't there is someone(the agent) to help us when problems occur
Many people still use travel agents,not everyone wants the responsibility that comes with booking your own holidays
and not everyone has the time it takes to organise one
