I have been working fly-in fly-out (FIFO)on mine sites in WA for many years and can tell you that when your on planes as much as I have you get just about every cold and flu bug known to man due to regular flights.
Sniffs, coffs, chest infections......etc.
Someone put onto a nasal spray that you can get over the counter of the chemist called FESS frequent flyer.
All it is made of is Saline and Tea Tree Oil so drug free. I know your thinking it wouldn't work but I tell you it is bloody amazing!
The Saline pretty much rinses the nostils of any germs / bacteria.
If you read the pamphlet inside it gives you some facts about the air content and ratio inside an aircraft which opens your eyes and starts to make sense. For example an aircraft only has 20% fresh air with the other 80% being recycled (hence why you feel tired in an aircraft and pick up a cold or flu so easily).
For $12 its the best thing since sliced bread.
Hope this helps you mate.
