Last time we went to Bali we took our laptop. Mainly to watch dvd's and also work on some photos that we might take while we're over there and wanted to get them printed on canvas.
The laptop pretty much was only used to power my wife's iphone when we listened to it with our arvo drinks.
Helps out when your hand luggage is over weight, you just say you've got a laptop and they wave you through.
