Air Asia Baggage Prices

Hi everyone I wanted to up my baggage from the 15kg normal weight to the 25kg and when I rang my agent it cost me $30 per person but when I asked about how much at the airport for excess they said $8US a KILO.
If you can pre book the heavier baggage it would save you a bundle
