Air Asia also charges a Sports Equipment Fee for golf clubs, scuba diving gear, surf boards and bicycles. This fee is on top of the fee for checked in baggage.

The fee of 40 Malaysian Ringgits or Rp 125,000 covers up to 15 kg of sporting equipment. If you are flying to Bali via KL, then you would have to pay for two lots of checked in baggage fees plus two lots of sports equipment fees, if you carrying sports equipment.
