me from a lovely guy in Kuta. As I will be taking the drum back to oz I had to get the one with the plastic top and it is just beautiful. The drum is the djembe type in a red wood and I asked him to carve a gecko on it. He also gave me a drum lesson whilst there and included a thick lovely case for the drum so that I can put it can go on the plane and not damage it. I did go to tegalalang to check them out and yes they were cheaper, and mine was not, but I absultely love mine and was very happy with the price. Purchasing my drum was a fantastic experience and my time with this old man is one I will remember for years to come. Please email me for details of his address and name. I am also starting african drum lessons here next Wednesday evening if anyone is interested and wants details, lessons just 70,000rp per lesson.
