Has anyone brought a timber drum with animal skin across the top back into Oz??
I would imagine as the tanning treatment of the skin would not be exactly known, and it would also be difficult to see inside the drum, the timber may also need to be treated.
What was the cost of treatment by Quarantine and how long did the whole process take.
The cost is the most important ???? as i will be looking at buying a Djembe style drum in Bali and bringing it back, just have to weigh up the variables.
Cheers,
Ray
