I returned from Bali in February. It pays to shop around.
What seems to have happened is that some places have increased their prices by 60 to 80%, whereas other places have held their prices constant.
Examples:
Dolphin Leather increased prices by 60% for a leather jacket, but Frenches Leather opposite has not increased prices at all.
Agung Cottages has increased prices by 75% yet Taman Sari Cottages has reduced prices by 10%.
Mades Warung and Simpang Cafe have not increased prices.
Taxis have gone up 10%
Petrol is the same price as last year.
Spirits and wine now sell for silly prices.
