But seriously, the examples given below are NOT personal names, they are birth-order names for people of lowest caste. What follows is the real 'name', eg. Wayan Budiarsa, etc. However, it is an old practice (I don't know how much this actually still takes place) to receive, in addition, a secret name, known only to 2-3 people, and this name was also 'cremated' at the time of death. Balinese names is a very confusing subject, also amongst the Balinese. Keep smiling!!!!!
