This appears to be a very interesting topic! Besides what I stated earlier, I think it is reasonable to 'early' reserve pool lounges with towells and / or personal items under certain conditions.
I have been guilty of reserving two lounges at about 7.00 a.m., then swimming in the pool or taking a nice beach walk for up to an hour. Then a great breakfast around about 8.00 a.m. and then shortly afterwards down to my reserved lounge by the pool. I don't think that is too unreasonable.
To the contrary, any people who 'reserve' the best lounges Early in the morning and don't turn up until 10 or 12 or even afternoon (if at all) are basically rude, inconsiderate and selfish people, who we all detest!!!
I agree with many with Forumites on this issue about pool chair ignorant 'ratbags'. A couple of hours is probably reasonable, but coming back from shopping or eating five or six (or even more) hours later; depriving other pool lovers is totally rude and ignorant.

Everyone should be fair and reasonable in repect to this 'crazy' issue! Regards Mark Chambers (chambersmar)
