Reserving Pool Chairs

Often at Resorts I have noted the people "reserve" pool side chairs by
draping a towel over them - usually from say 7 am on and expect the chairs to ready for them when they return late afternoon !
Of course the towels are Hotel "issue" and thus not "thiers".
Where "I come from" seats are reserved by sitting on them. Hence my
"method" is to observe the chair use & then making my site choice. The towels are thrown onto the next unused chair.
