QANTAS domestic does fly into some very dodgy airports back here in Australia and has a safety record second to none. QANTAS International flies to exactly the same type of airports as Garuda International and, again, has a record second to none. It is great that everyone can have an opinion on which airline they prefer but do not forget the fact that Garuda is not highly thought of by the aviation community and their recent spate of fatal accidents, over a few years, has not been as a direct result of operations into or out of poor airfields. It has been due to poor decision making coupled with minimal training in a number of specific areas. To make such broad statements, as you have done, without the professional background or expertise to make such judgements is, at best, nothing more than wild speculation and, at the other end of the spectrum, simple s**t stirring.
