was back in 1998.My wife and I were staying in Ashram Guest House in Bedegul and knew absosutely zero about Nyepi Day. The hotel mentioned nothing what so ever about it when we checked out. We then caught a bemo to Kuta,and wondered why there were only a few people on it and very few people out and about on the way down to Kuta. We checked into a hotel in Kuta @ 2pm and still weren't told anything about Nyepi!
I've had 2 Nyepi days in Bali since and love it!
