Absolute rubbish that Jakarta wants Lombok to be a 'strict muslim state'. As always, what the government wants is tolerance between the various religions on Lombok, including the large population of Hindus (left over from when Bali controlled west Lombok), Buddists, and Muslims.
If you have spent any time on Lombok you would know that your comments are ignorant and very far from the truth.
