as every visit we go up to Singaraja to visit the sponsored kids and The Helen Flavel Learning centre. We usually leave at 6.30 am with the Kijang packed to max with food and clothes etc. Its a long day and dont get back till 7pm so last time took 2 cars plus my sisters family and her friends to show around Bedugul and Lovina etc so stayed overnight and definately easier just took what we needed overnight and left the rest in room at Patra. This gave us a chance for the kids to feed the wild monkeys on the road and go into the waterfall plus visit Crackers Bar etc on the way( although couldnt tear the kids away from the monkeys so missed out on the Hotsprings)
Did tell reception just in case they wondered what happened to my daughter and myself if the beds werent slept in etc.
No problems with anything. Think just left things in room safe but if worried put it into hotel safe. Much easier way to do it without packing for 1 night will probably do the same again in Sept when i have other friends come.
Youll be able to fit in a lot more if you pull yourselves out of bed and head up early.
Also suggest to be at Safari park by the time it opens before it opens and out of the heat to be back in the aftie in time for a cocktail and swim. We actually took bathers had a dip in the kids area pool had lunch there really cheap noodles then headed back.Takes about 1 hr 40 mins from Safari Park to Patra dep. on traffic.
