Great feedback. I understand its a sign of respect from the Balinese, but for me I thought that when they call you mama it just means that you are old.
I never used to be called mama, but in the last year or so some sellers are calling me mama, so I say 'Oi I'm not THAT old to be a mama' and we all laugh. Obviously the Martha Tilaar is not helping me in looking younger.
I think my issue will remain with Australians who insist on saying 'my bali son Fred' and not just saying their name, but that's cool I can live with it. Thanks
