We have been going to Bali since 1979. We have had many different holidays there....single holidays at places like the Bounty & Paddys.....we were all young once, Groups of couples, finding great restaurants & bars, laying by the pool. The footy trips, probably annoying some people, maybe amusing some people, but having the time of our lives. Took the toddlers and taught them to barter with a few rupiah.....the Balinese love children. Taking teenagers & teaching them respect for other cultures & how to say 'no' politely....and how to haggle but be fair. Last trip was with 30 19-21 year olds...along with the oldies...something for everyone. Bali will be what you look for and want it to be...it is no Gold Coast...but us Forumites don't want it to be like that. Go and enjoy.
