Taksis please send them to Ubud. There is no "real" taksi service in Ubud and there are times when I wish there were. The local drivers up there try it on too much. I am convinced there is a night time "cartel" in Monkey Forest Road, a bit like I experienced outside of Sharkey's Restaurant in Jimbaran years ago. I think a proper taksi service up there would sort a few things out.
Sorry about the rant but I am heading back there in 2 weeks and the on going hassle of negotiating prices for a 1 km ride several times a day gets to me after a while. Everything else there is good.
