expect businesses to be owned by people in areas other than where you choose to visit. Do tourists visiting the Gold Coast for example really care at all if the services they use are owned by Gold Coast residents or in Brisbane or elsewhere. Bali is not a separate country.
All the repair and maintenance work is done in Bali and the drivers are Balinese and the fuel is bought in Bali so how on earth could 99% of the money go to Jakarta. After expenses and local taxation it would be surprising if 10% went there, and why shouldn't it?
