We'll be in Bali for 4 whole days next week. Have alloted:
1.0 day for Bali Hai Reef Cruise
0.5 day for White Water Rafting
0.5 day for Kuta walkaround / shopping (to be done on the last day)
Thus, we have approximately 2 days to spend to tour around Bali. Understand that Bali's pretty big, so I'm thinking of spending 1 day apiece to head to Eastern and Western Bali. Have already made arrangements with a driver/car @ 450,000rp for 12 hours.
I have thus far identified the following places to visit:
- Tanah Lot. Gotta be there in time for sunset.
- Uluwatu. Gotta be there in time for sunset.
- Ulun Danau Bratan Temple
- Kintamani. Perhaps have a meal (lunch) there at that restaurant overlooking the volcano. Also visit the Tampak Siring since it's around the vicinity.
- Bedugul. Pura Ulun Danu.
- Ubud for some arts and local performance (Kecak Dance).
- Jimbaran for dinner?
Do you guys think we can cover all of the above in 2 days? We're more after sightseeing and photo sessions (i.e. "hey! we're in Bali!") so quite unlikely we'll spend lots of time on every stop.
Admittedly, I haven't figured out how we'll go about arranging the itinerary. Was planning to check with hotel staff and perhaps even leave it to the car driver but that may be unwise of me, especially after hearing of drivers taking tourists to tourist trap places.
So if you guys and gals have any suggestions, please help fill me in! I would really really appreciate it! :)
