The next thing people like Susan B will boycott are countries that 'cull' infectious diseases by using antibiotics to kill lethal germs or disinfectants that kill harmful bacteria.
There is no way to treat feral dogs with rabies other than to kill them. It is especially important to do it as quickly as possible before the disease gets out of control.
By the way the Bali government also offers free vaccinations to dog owners for rabies throughout the island. After the vaccination the dog is issued a tag that prevents it from being culled.
I guess Susan B would rather see some human children die from rabies so that we could preserve our 'voiceless' friends.
