Are you enquiring for an Indonesian child or a non-Indonesian child?

If Indonesian they can go to a public school. The cost depends on the age/class they are in and it also depends on where the school is. For example, a school in a regional area of Bali may be less expensive than one in the heart of Denpasar.

Expect to pay an amount of money annually in June/July for the beginning of the school year, and then a small sum each month. As a rough guide, the upfront each year can range from around 1 to 1.5 million for primary school year 5 & 6, 1.5 to 2 million for high school years 7 to 9, and 3 to 3.5 million for high school 10 to 12. Each month will vary, but around 50,000 for smaller children who walk to school. Older kids who need transport to high school you need to work out based on the situation.

There are private schools as well, and some international schools take Indonesian children. The costs vary.

If you are enquiring for an expat child then you need to look into international schools. They can be quite expensive.
