I was back at work after our first Bali trip when my mother rang me and asked if I had been bitten or scratched by a monkey.
No I hadn't why? she had a man from some government agent(health department?), knock on our front door and ask her if anyone had been to the monkey forest in Ubud, as rabies had been reported. I had been to the forest so he waited while she rang me, very scary stuff, that first Bali trip was full of dramatic episodes!
Poor mum I'm sure she watched me very carefully for some time.
