My brother went for a month and came back with those t-shirts and dresses with mushrooms & palm trees on them!! Managed not to get bali belly. Talked about banana pancake for breakfast and not much night life. Walking through cow paddocks to get to Kuta Beach & riding up to Singaraja on a motor bike and having cold showers. Washing done but laid out on the grass to dry.
Photos of rice paddies and primitive streets and underdeveloped beachfronts. I am so envious that he got to see it then.
Not sure progress is all that good really.
