I remember Bali in the mid and late 80's.
After my last trip in 1989 I only returned in 2001 to a shock!but still kept going back after that even though I hated the building of the shopping centers and Kuta square.
Kuta area as moved at the same rate as most popular holiday destinations but we just don't move with it :)
