and maybe consider the Cat 'n Fiddle, its not so close to the Griya but down opposite the Puri Santrian entrance. If birthday happened to be on a Tuesday night you would have free Irish band entertainment, can pre-book a table for dinner and the food is great and very reasonably priced. It would cost nothing like you mentioned at the Griya.
Its not on the beach though. Have fun!
