We also went to a place, almost the highest point in tretes, a huge mansion that is now owned by a christian church group from Surabaya, no-one living there and it was in a bit of dis-repair, they are going to renovate it.
Wow it was multi stories, on the side of the mountain there, I remember standing on the balcony and you could see for 100's of kilometers - almost all the way back to Surabaya !
