Last year I went to Audrey's shop having read good reports on BTF. I entered and asked the lady at the counter if she was Audrey. The lady looked startled, called in Indonesian to a guy at the back of the shop and said to me haltingly "No speak English". The guy walked up to me and I said to him "Is Audrey here, please?" He said "No and she's away for the whole week." I replied, "No worries, I'll come back next week" as I was in Bali for a fortnight. The next thing, an American man walked in and said "Hi Audrey" and the lady who supposedly couldn't speak English turned bright red and replied in perfectly good English "Oh, I'm good and how are you today?" I didn't wait for an explanation but simply took my custom elsewhere.
