I haven't stayed at the MBR but friends of mine who post on here have stayed there most trips and absolutely love it. I went into the hotel there once for a look. It's in a good spot.
As for BGH, I have stayed there 3 times and again next year. It's in a fantastic location. The pools being renovated are now brilliant. The beds are as comfy as they come. To me, you couldn't get a better located hotel on the beach.
Not sure the difference in the prices though. I'd imagine BGH to be slightly cheaper??? But dunno
