The forms I had downloaded from the Canberra Embassy turned out to be out of date when I turned up at the Consulate but they gave me the new forms (pink) to fill out.
You now will need the following for each application. Passport, copy of ticket, $60 in the form of a money order from the post office and one only passport photo.
It was very straightforward and I picked up our passports 3 days later with visas for 60 days in place.
