The rupiah and Aussie dollar more or less track together, but the problem is that hotels quote in US$ and the exchange rate has slipped a lot. The hotels have increased their rates by up to 20% and the Aussie has dropped up to 25%, so hotel rates in AU$ have increased by 45%.
