i have been reading about the many problems with this so-called "best low budget airline in the world"...i ask this question...WHO voted them this?WHO in their right mind would? i have never flown with them or ever will until their qantas cabin crew attitude changes and their rediculous fare system changes.Garuda is sometimes bagged for their operational methods and fare structure,safety etc,but jetstar don't really have that much to boast about either. Atleast when you have paid for your ticket with Garuda you know what you are going to get...service...something jetstar needs to look at from what i have read on this and other forums. I feel very sorry for 'sue and kids' having to go through all the dramas of yet another cock-up from jetstar not to mention the other jetstar pax who have or had bad experiences with this mob...and mob is what they are.i have a trip coming up and i priced jetstar with garuda...garuda was only about a few dollars more expensive and after reading the woes of jetstar pax in the past, the choice was simple...Garuda of course.I understand that many people who dont have the luxury of Garuda flying from their state and have to rely on the cheapest possible means of getting to Bali,but i wonder, is it really not better to fly into Melb or Syd or Pert,and get a Garuda flight and know that you are almost certain of even getting to Bali without jetstar hitting you with another delay,cancellation excuse? Yes Garuda has had it's problems but i think nowhere near as many as jetstar and like many people say, once you step on board a Garuda plane and see the smiling Balinese faces it's worth the extra.No i don't work for Garuda! i simply am trying to ask people, is jetstar REALLY worth the hassle and crap that IS jetstar?Some have been lucky with 'specials' and those 'some' have said it wasn't worth the trouble..getting things like a bottle of water etc....I think it is time for another carrier to come in and knock jetstar off from this so-called 'low cost carrier' tag..it isn't low cost in the long run it's a cheap,nasty,ex-qantas attitude carrier and the sooner they stop flying the better. I appologise for the long post,but I get upset at reading about passengers having so much trouble with this jetstar mob. crucify me if you want to,I am just saying what i think needs to be said.
