With regards to the extensions followed the link and it does not say that you require a sponsor for the extension on the b211. It just gives the reasons for the extension, however on the D212 which is the multiple visit visa it states that you require a sponsor. Am I reading this wrong or is the sponsor just not mentioned in the 211
