Hey everyone I went to Bali in the April school holidays and it is my favouritist place in the world. It was my 3rd time and I'm 13 years old. I've been to Malaysia, Singapore and Queensland but Bali is the best.
We had to get up really early in the morning, and my granddad took us to the airport. Mum took me and my brother some snacks because airport food is yuck!
We flew Guruda Indonesia. I didn't like the food much, I still managed to get a kids meal even though I'm 13. It was lucky too because the adult meal looked yuckier than airport food. Nothing really mattered because I was going to Bali.
Our first stop was Legian. We stayed at the Melasti Beach Resort. The room was good and it had 3 pools and my brother and I tried them all out. We liked the big one the best because it had a bridge that you can jump off. The spa is great. I had my first hair cream bath there. I looked like one of the girls from the Pantene adds
Along the market street from the Melasti there was a DVD shop. It had a monkey chained to the wall! I felt so sorry for it!
Waterbom Park was Awesome!
The only bad part was that the boomerang (which is my fav ride) was closed:(
I went on all the other rides. I went on the Macaroni tube with my dad and we went super fast because the guy held the back of the tube down into the water and the water built up and we zoomed down. We got a cabana for the day, if anyone goes to Waterbom they should get one of these because they are great to put all your stuff in.
We had some corn on the cob and even though it looked burnt it tasted great. I also had a slushy and not much else because I was too busy on the rides.
We went to Centro after Waterbom and my brother and I played air hockey in the fun parlor.
Mum and I went to Bemo Corner. Can you say SHOPPING!!! We walked the whole way up and down Legian street. Bali is definitely the best place for shopping. I got a lot of clothes mainly from the surf shops and two hats.
Wayan and Friends is probably the best restaurant in Legian. It has the BEST food there. It also has great service. Another great one is Legian snacks. It doesn't look the best, but their Nazi Goreng is excellent. La Lucciola is a great place as well. The pancakes were awesome! My brother and I played football on the beach after breakfast.
The street kids in Legian were a bit annoying but I got used to them and they eventually leave you alone if you just say 'no thank you.' All they really want is a coin anyway.
On the way up to Ubud we stopped at Tahnah Lot water temple. It was really cool. My brother held a giant python but I was too scared to but I held its tail.
In Ubud we stayed at the Tegal Sari Hotel. It's very quiet, but in a good way. It's very nice.
We also went to the Safari Park. It was sooo cool!
I held a baby orangutan called Tsunami. She was so cute and cuddly. We also had our picture taken with 2 lion cubs. We went on a safari and saw tons of animals. It was so cool. I know I say that a lot but it is really cool.
Next stop was Tuban. We stayed at the Dynasty. It's really cool. It's got a waterslide and everything. The food is good too.
My fav restaurants in Tuban are definitely the Pantai and the Dewi Sri. The chilli muscles at the Dewi Sri are awesome!
All the food at the Pantai is totally awesomely AWSOME!!!!
I love playing on the beach even though half of their restaurant is washed away.
They also have these really nice icy poles up there. Their called Twista Cola. Mmm I feel like one right now. If anyone goes up there you have to try one.
The food on the way back on the plane was way better than the breakfast on the way up. They gave me chicken nuggets.
