Hi alleylou
The first haircream bath cost Rp 85,000 at the Melasti Spa in Legian. She had another the day before leaving to re-vitalise after all the swimming in chlorinated pools. This was at Johnny Andrean which is a hair salon in the Discovery Shopping Mall. That one cost Rp 57,000. (They also do manicure/pedicure at both places.) The hair cream treatments took about an hour. Daughter preferred the one at the Melasti the most. A very relaxing atmosphere and they made a fuss of her. The other is just like going to a hair salon and is very busy.
Daughter had her nails done at the Dynasty. Silly me looked in hotel brochure and saw that manicure and pedicure would cost Rp 90,000 for both. Fine, I thought, too easy. Didn't think about the nail polish and flowers. This doubled the price to Rp 180,000. The polish came off around the same time as it does had we had it done on the beach for a lesser price. (Though I do worry about the cleanliness of the beach.)
Shoot me but we don't do the hair braiding for many reasons.
Hope you enjoy your holiday.
