Money exchanging at Aust Post

Hi again. Is it true that we can exchange money / buy US dollars at Australia Post offices? If someone could tell me if its true that they do not charge for the service and also if it is all Aust Post offices or larger branches. Im all abit confused. I want some US dollars for the VOA adn would rather save on the commission at Perth Airport if this is the case.
