We have just stayed at KP and I have to agree with sofe,the staff were execelent in the resturant but there was'nt enough of them to cope with the number of customers,there are alot of people from outside the hotel who come there to eat and it was very busy.The third new builing was'nt finished then but a number of people staying in the new wings said it was very noisey especialy if the people in the rooms nearby had had a few drinks.It was also busy around the old pool because there isn't alot of shade around the new pool,the gardens have been planted they just need time to grow. We are in our 60s and always stay in on the top floor,but the stairs are steep it depends if you have any problems.We usually go over the road to the beach 30,000rp for the day is a bargain Oh and my husband just reminded me it's 10,000rp for a beer and the boys bring it for you.We love KP but it's not the same standard as the Padma and I would deffinately not go there in the school holidays.Hope this helps you.
